Job Title: Lead Operator - Production
Location: Wymondham, Norfolk, NR18
Salary: £15.50p/h
Hours: 12-hour shifts, 19:00PM - 07:00AM Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Operator to join their dynamic production team on a Temporary to Permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. This role requires a strong background in both leadership and machine-based production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and work with the team of production operatives to achieve daily targets and maintain high standards of quality.
- Manage the workflow and allocate tasks to ensure optimal productivity.
- Operate and oversee the maintenance of machinery, ensuring all equipment is used safely and efficiently.
- Monitor production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide training and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and prepare reports as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a production environment, with specific expertise in letter-based and machine-based processes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices in a production setting.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, and to work every other weekend.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
