Clearfield Recruitment have partnered with a leading provider of high-quality roofing solutions, with a strong reputation built over decades of excellence. We are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join the team, playing a key role in securing and delivering successful projects.
As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for a variety of roofing projects. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure cost-effective and high-quality solutions. Hybrid working can be offered, providing flexibility alongside office-based collaboration in Norfolk.
Key Responsibilities of this role will include;
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Reviewing specifications, drawings, and contract documents
- Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors
- Conducting site visits and assessments where required
- Supporting project handovers and liaising with delivery teams
- Providing expert advice on cost-saving and value engineering
The ideal applicant will possess;
- Proven experience as an Estimator, ideally in construction or roofing (roofing experience is advantageous)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
