Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for an ICT End User Computing Engineer - IT on a 12 months contract with a possibility of further extension.

Principal purpose of the role:

Working within the Force’s busy ICT End User Computing team supporting both Norfolk and Suffolk customers, you will be part of a dedicated team that travels across both counties to undertake the work required. You will resolve faults and fulfil requests on site, along with undertaking office moves and working on Estates relocation projects. You will also be required to visit sites. and perform full audits of ICT equipment.

Essential Criteria:

1. Qualification in an ICT Discipline or equivalent experience in an IT operational environment

2. Proven experience in working within a Microsoft Windows environment

3. Demonstrate an ability to perform advanced diagnostics when solving complex hardware & software

issues

4. Proven experience and ability to work as an effective team member and with limited supervision isolation

when required

5. Demonstrate knowledge of maintaining ICT Asset register

6. Demonstrate highly effective communication skills in a customer focused environment

7. Ability to travel to multiple locations within Norfolk and Suffolk as required with a full driving licence to drive Constabulary vehicles including category B.
