Flourish Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a GOOD Ofsted-rated Primary School in Wythall. This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant looking for a role in Key Stage 2. The school has a supportive and inclusive environment where you will be able to grow your skills and experience in a welcoming team. This is a full-time, term-time position, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children.

This role is due to start in January and continue initially until the end of the academic year.

 

Job Role:

  • Provide support to the class teacher in Key Stage 2 lessons.
  • Help deliver engaging lessons to small groups and individual students.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) under the guidance of the SENCo.
  • Assist with classroom management to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the general welfare and safeguarding of students.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK Primary School.
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Education (essential).
  • Experience supporting students in Key Stage 2.
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and Key Stage 2 expectations.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A passion for supporting children in their learning and development.

 

Working as a Teaching Assistant for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
