BOXX2BOXX Coffee are looking for a barista to join their busy shop in Manchester! Join our team today to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, fun environment!
BOXX2BOXX Coffee was established in 2021, and is run by Ex professional footballer and Queen of the jungle 2023, Jill Scott MBE and her partner Shelly Unitt, who were inspired by their love for coffee.The coffee shop regularly has a host of famous professional athletes and celebrities visiting throughout the week. The Baristas serve up Manchester's finest Coffee to stay in or take away 6 days a week.
Barista Responsibilities:
- Making hot and cold coffees for customers from lattes to milkshakes
- Be able to dial in a coffee grinder and maintain a consistent shot time
- To make and present hot and cold foods
- Taking customer orders as well as upselling to customers
- Using the till and cash handling
- Assisting with driving company targets and sales
- Having an understanding of the menu and what we offer
- Excellent Customer Service
- Cleaning tables, shop and kitchen
- Responsible for opening and closing shop
Having a lively personality, confident and friendly and comfortable dealing with customers, reliable and co-operative, work independently, under pressure and as part of a team, be organised, have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and have a flexible approach to work.
Desired:
- Excellent hygiene levels and understanding of food hygiene - Level 2/3 food hygiene certificate desirable
- Latte art experience
*You must have a minimum of 1 year’s barista experience*
