Contek Recruitment are currently working with a well-established precisionengineeringcompany based inManchester. Due to company growth, they are now looking for a Manual Millerto join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Our client has been operating for almost 20years, and do a lot of work for both the Oil & Gas and Defence industries.
Working Hours:Monday to Thursday (07:45am until 16:15pm) and Friday (07:45am until 12:45pm) - Consistent overtime is available and paid at time-and-a-half during the week and on Saturdays, and paid at double pay on a Sunday.
Pay:17-18per hour, dependent on experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Working on XYZ CNC milling machinery.
- Reading and understanding technical engineering drawings.
- Machining parts and components for the Oil & Gas and Defence industries, including pumps, turbines, seals, bearings and valves.
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy, in line with health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within manual milling is required.
- Previous experience working on XYZ machinery is preferred, not essential.
- Able to read and understand a range of technical engineering drawings.
