Medical Receptionist required on a temporary basis for a busy medical centre.The ideal person will have experience of working previously within a surgery / practise and be a strong communicator. The rate is 11.50 to 12.00 per hour and offers weekly pay. The role is based in a fast-paced GP surgery and is to start ASAP. The right candidate will have used a system called EMIS ideally in previous medical roles.
What will you be doing as a Medical Receptionist?
- Answering inbound calls from patients, booking appointments via EMIS
- Registering new patients and completing the necessary administrative tasks
- Action requests for information to be sent/retrieved for Doctors/Nurses/Healthcare professionals and process prescriptions in line with policy
- Ensure premises are kept clean and tidy in between visits from the cleaning staff
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
- Previous medical reception experience and knowledge of EMIS system is essential
- Able to prioritise workload and multitask as this is a busy role
- Be able to support your team, and work with a can-attitude
