The School and Role
A secondary academy in Manchester are seeking a Graduate Teacher from January 2025. The successful Graduate Teacher will work as Cover Supervisor, covering secondary school classes of all subjects. As a Cover Supervisor you will not be expected to a subject specialist in the classes you cover, your responsibility will be to deliver the lesson and ensure pupils are kept on task and manage behaviour.
The school would be keen to hear from candidates that are available on a part time, full time or flexible basis. This role will be perfectly suited to graduates considering teacher training in the future.
This Secondary Academy in Manchester forms part of an Multi Academy Trust. The trust offer training for aspiring teachers and is a great route for candidates who are looking to gain their teacher training directly through schools.
Requirements
The desired Cover Supervisor will have;
- An interest in working in education and with young people
- Degree or A-level Education
- a resilient, adaptable and motivated personality
- An ability to work as part of a team
