Commissioning Engineer - North West

Salary: Up to 45,000 (OTE up to 65,000 with overtime)

GPW Recruitment is currently seeking a Commissioning Engineer for one of our esteemed clients in the gas sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a forward-thinking company and contribute to key projects driving innovation in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform system commissioning on client sites, resolving any issues arising during the process.

• Conduct communications and end-to-end system testing.

• Provide technical support to clients and internal teams.

• Collaborate with Design Engineers to develop commissioning strategies.

• Train less experienced engineers in commissioning processes.

• Compile detailed reports and documentation in line with company procedures.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in commissioning and/or servicing equipment on client sites.

• 2 years' experience working independently without supervision.

• HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.

• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings.

• Experience with PLC controllers and pressure control systems.

• Proven fault-finding skills.

• Computer literate with knowledge of MS and Linux systems.

• Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points, no disqualifications).
