Commissioning Engineer - North West

Salary: Up to 45,000 (OTE up to 65,000 with overtime)

GPW Recruitment is currently seeking a Commissioning Engineer for one of our esteemed clients in the gas sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a forward-thinking company and contribute to key projects driving innovation in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform system commissioning on client sites, resolving any issues arising during the process.

Conduct communications and end-to-end system testing.

Provide technical support to clients and internal teams.

Collaborate with Design Engineers to develop commissioning strategies.

Train less experienced engineers in commissioning processes.

Compile detailed reports and documentation in line with company procedures.
Key Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' experience in commissioning and/or servicing equipment on client sites.

2 years' experience working independently without supervision.

HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.

Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings.

Experience with PLC controllers and pressure control systems.

Proven fault-finding skills.

Computer literate with knowledge of MS and Linux systems.

Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points, no disqualifications).
