HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver
Contract Vacancy - Rolling Long-Term -12-months minimum (Start Date - ASAP)
South Gloucestershire (local candidate preferred)
18.90 / hour Umbrella + Overtime at 33% uplift per hour
Full time position - Rough hours 7AM - 5PM with additional overtime pay.
A Heavy Good Driver is required to work for various teams working on behalf of the council. You will mainly be supporting the Construction team initially due to contract wins, but you will also support the Highways team, and other teams as requested. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for travelling to various quarries, picking up stones and delivering them to sites. You will be driving a tipper truck.
The successful candidate must have a Class 2 Driving License, CPC Card and Driving card. The right candidate will have experience driving tipper trucks, be polite, have a good attitude to working, and be good at time-keeping. The ideal candidate will have experience working in quarries, but this is not essential. The interview process will be one-stage official interview in-person.
