Mechanical Fitter

Based outside of Yate

£11.44ph - £13.29ph (DOE) – Subject to change in April 2025 due to national minimum wage increase

Working with a well-established engineering company who are now on the lookout for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their ever-growing team based on the outskirts of Yate.

This job will involve breaking apart old jacking beams for servicing.

Key Responsibilities – Mechanical Fitter

Maintain all standards of Health and Safety Rules of the Company.
Maintain and observe all Health and Safety Rules that pertain to employee’s responsibilities.
Implement company requirements for the quality system, ISO 9001: 2015 at all times.
Maintain good standards in the work place, keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe at all times.
Assembly of hydraulic components of pit jack, scissor jacks and other products.
Attend all meetings as required.
Clean workshop areas, empty waste containers, assisting with other duties as required.
Complete all time recording as necessary.

Qualifications & Experience – Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical or hydraulic fitting experience
