CLIENT OVERVIEW

Our client are a highly technical welding and CNC company that specialises in the aerospace and automotive industries, and they hold the AS9100 and NADCAP accreditation.

Trading since 1998 and with over 25 employees, this company operates a bespoke, unique operation that offers services and solutions in with precision engineering excellence.

Due to a successful year, they have a unique opportunity for a Development Engineer with a welding background to join their busy team.

JOB PURPOSE

Our client is looking for a mechanically minded individual who has had some previous experience working on machines in a workshop workshop environment and keen to progress their career is machining and welding.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be setting, operating and manufacturing using a number of specialised weld machines and will be reading technical drawings and specifications.

As you will be using a wide range of machines, the ideal candidate will be able to adapt to new technique and machinery and have a can-do attitude.

Work collaboratively with other team members to reduce bottlenecks and maintain the flow of production, ensuring daily targets on time delivery are met.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideally have a City & Guilds or NVQ Level 1 or 2 in an engineering field or literately work experience in a similar field.

You will have good communication and organisational skills.

Keen to learn, progress and develop, with a view to supporting different engineering departments.

Full training will be given

SALARY / BENEFITS

£13.80 Per hour / £27, 986 per annum 

39 Hours

7am – 4pm         Monday to Thursday

7am – 12pm      Friday

25.5 days holiday
