The Electronics Engineer will design and develop electronics for instrumentation and acoustics applications, focusing on both analogue and digital circuit design.

Candidates should have some experience with microcontroller-based circuit design and embedded software, while knowledge of FPGA design is desirable.

The position typically requires several years of relevant experience, with a salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 depending on experience.

The successful Electronics Engineer is responsible for design and development of electronics for instrumentation and acoustics applications.

Expertise in analogue and digital circuit design preferably in an instrumentation development environment.
The work will involve mixed signal design including pre-amplifiers, filters, power supplies, interfacing, and analogue-digital conversion for precision instrumentation applications.
Some experience or knowledge of microcontroller-based circuit design and embedded software essential.
Some experience or knowledge of FPGA based circuit design is desirable.
The candidate will be expected to work independently or as a member of a team contributing to all aspects of the product development cycle from requirement analysis through design & development into production.
Candidate would be expected to produce design documentation and test specifications.
IPC trained (training can be provided)

Operational Amplifier circuits
Power supply technology
Circuit analysis, modelling, and theory
Analog-Digital Conversion
Interfacing and IO (e.g. I2C and SPI bus)
CAD Schematic layout
