NES Fircroft are recruiting a Quality Engineer on behalf of our client who are completing Mechanical & Electrical Installations on a new build power station inEye, Ipswich.

This is a contract opportunity for 3-6 months. Working 6 days per week, Mon-Sat.

Job Role:
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for preparing and checking all welding procedures, record keeping, arranging necessary NDT's etc.

Experience:
  • Qualified to CSWIP 3.1
  • Extensive experience in fabrication and welding (minimum City and Guilds Fabrication and Welding qualification or equivalent).
  • MMA and TIG experience and familiarity of welding procedures
  • Arranging NDT's
  • Experience in heavy engineering sites: Power, Oil & Gas, Petrochem etc
