Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading Power Company to recruit an Electrically biased Multi-skilled Technician for its site in Suffolk.
The Multi-Skilled Technician role comes with a salary of c. 39,000 + benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will:
- Fault finding, installing and maintaining, instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow and level) and control systems.
- Calibrations and loop checking of instruments relating to the sites DCS/control systems.
- Maintaining the continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS)
- Assist in the development of plant modification and improvement work.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the site CMMS
- Supervising and directing on site contractors when required
- Ensuring strict HSE compliance at all times.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- A recognised Electrical Engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3 / HNC
- At least 4 years of experience working in the maintenance team in a heavy process environment such as a power station, refinery, chemical plant etc.
- Strong understanding of mechanical fault-finding in heavy process environments, which will be required during call-outs.
- Any Controls and Instrumentation experience would be hugely beneficial but not essential

The Multi-Skilled Technician role would suit someone who has:
- Able to work a 1 in 4 call-out rota.
- Able to work well alone or within a team
- A self-starter who always has a positive attitude to work
