Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Yeovil.
Job Purpose
- Provide financial support across various areas, including sales and purchase ledger, and management accounts.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations.
- Help maintain accurate financial records and meet deadlines.
Main Duties
- Assist with debt management and sales ledger tasks.
- Support the purchase ledger process.
- Help with month-end reconciliations for management accounts.
- Support capital project reconciliations.
- Aid other finance team members with tasks when needed.
- Follow financial regulations and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience with accounting systems.
- Relevant qualification/background
- Able to start quickly
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure
