Morson Talent are currently recruiting for an Administrator to work on the behalf of one of our prestigious Aerospace clients based in Yeovil, Somerset. This role is a contract until September 2025, with possibility of extension.
The IOS Colocation & Planning Controller will have a dual role, split between being the focal point for the colocation contract, dealing with the UK MOD DE&S Customer, the customer’s Site Facilities, Internal Departments & Suppliers related to Centenary House, building 100 & building 156 and supporting the Business Management team in Planning and Scheduling activities.
Accountable to the SMO Business Manager to:
• Ensure that the BSPOC is made aware of any HS&E deficiencies likely to result in non-compliance with company policy and identify if efficiencies could be made.
• Act as the Co-location contract point of contact for all Building 100 & 156 issues from both LH and UK MOD personnel.
• Assist with IOS induction process (forms, equipment, HS&E induction pack, familiarisation of facilities) as required.
• Coordinate and manage HS&E mandatory training in compliance with company requirements and update training records on SAP.
• Ensure personnel have viewed/aware of applicable risk assessments and updates as required.
• Act as Display Screen Equipment Assessor and conduct reviews as required.
• Conduct monthly audit inspections within IOS locations and liaise with IOS HS&E Reps to assist with quarterly audit returns.
• Act as point of contact for HS&E issues/maintenance requests (defective lighting, heating, etc) ensuring timely rectification.
• Act as the point of contact for all CS&T Process Change requests, Product Quality Alerts, CI Changes etc.
• Assist with raising/releasing of Requisitions & Purchase Orders in SAP for IOS activity.
• Monitor HS&E Boards to ensure pertinent up to date information displayed.
• Monitor and order stationery as required for IOS.
• Producing briefings and presentation material for use internally and externally.
• Manage the clerical and administrative duties within the department to ensure they are covered as required.
• Co-ordinate meeting rooms bookings for the wider team to remove duplications.
• Co-ordinate the training requirements for the IOS team.
• Prepare, check and distribute external communications to the project teams.
• Assist the Planning Officer (IOS) in day to day activities and deputise as required.
• Support in the maintenance of the Business Management process manual and periodic update.
• Support the SSCR reporting to the Customer. Capturing the changes in terms of Variances and Contract Amendments from the team and generating reports as required. Also includes the loading of the CPMU/PR process.
• Support the internal Month end SSCR reporting process to include reconciliations and reporting of variances.
• Support the Variance reporting to SSCR Contract, Baseline and Forecast through the life for Core and OOS activity. Providing reports to the team and Management as required
• You are responsible for taking reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work and to co-operate with managers, supervisors and others to enable the company to meet its statutory obligations for health, safety and environment.

- Experience of Planning and Scheduling
- Contractual knowledge and budget management skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong communicator at all levels of management

- Understanding of company budgetary process is desirable
- Experience in dealing with Customers and Suppliers
- Able to work on own initiative, organising and planning workloads for yourself and the team
as required.
