Sonic Summary

The HGV Class 2 Driver position is located in Sherborne, with immediate starts available.
New pass drivers are welcome, and candidates must have a HGV 2 licence, CPC, and digi card, with no more than 6 points on their license.
The role offers a pay rate of £19.00 PAYE umbrella or £15.50 per hour PAYE, with a permanent salary ranging from £32,000 to £34,000 per annum, including a £2,000 performance bonus.
Drivers will work Monday to Friday, starting between 5:00 and 6:00 am, with shifts lasting 9-10+ hours per day, completing 10-20 drops of chilled and frozen food.

Staffing Match is proud to be working in partnership with our Logistics client based in Sherborne who are looking for HGV 2 Drivers to work for them on a temp to perm basis. Immediate starts available.

Shifts as a HGV 2 Driver:

Monday - Friday working
05.00 - 06.00am starts
9-10+ hours per day

Your responsibilities as a Class 2 Driver:

Duties include completing deliveries of chilled and frozen food to customers.

Completing an average 10-20 drops per day
Picking chilled, frozen and ambient goods from pallets
Delivering using a pallet truck
Heavy lifting / manual handling involved.
Full training is given.
Permanent salary includes a £2000 performance bonus

HGV Class 2 Driver - About you:

Have a HGV 2 licence, CPC and digi card
New pass drivers welcome
No more than 6 points. No DR, DD, TT, IN10's
Excellent communication & customer service skills.
