Recruiting for a Head Chef to join a contract catering unit located near Yeovil, this is a busy site catering for high volume using fresh ingredients. You will be working for one of the industry's leading contract catering companies.

Key Information:
* Salary: £16.20 per hour
* Hours: 37.5 Hours, Shifts are day times, either finish by 2pm or some shifts finish by 7 or 8pm, 5/7 days but mainly Monday to Friday with some weekends on a rota basis
* Location: Taunton
* Contract: Permanent

Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Head Chef will Include:
* To ensure food preparation and control meets requirements in respect to the set standards
* To support in maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within a budget
* To be responsible for maintaining up to date product and menu knowledge
* To maintain a high standard of food preparation and presentation, ensuring portion and quality control
* To comply with health and safety and food safety legislations

What You Need To Be a Successful Head Chef:
Previous Experience as a Head Chef
NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications are required
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
