Do you have experience of working with customers, answering queries, have confidence in talking with customers over the phone, helping customers with finding solutions?  Are you looking for a new challenge?  Would you like to manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring you service and grow the business to the highest standard?  If so, we have an opportunity for an individual to join a passionate sales and account management team in Yeovil as a Junior Account Manager. If you haven’t done this role before, we would welcome your CV still, as full training will be provided.  You need to be willing to work in a sales-based environment, must be willing to work towards and meet targets and KPIs and you also must have a good level of administration and IT skills. Confident communication is important for this position and we would ideally like to see candidates who can demonstrate these skills from a previous customer focused role.Key duties include:
  • Answering sales calls in a professional manner
  • Providing quotations to customers as required
  • Follow up on quotations and prospects in a timely manner
  • Plan sales calls to maximise forward movement
  • Update all IT systems
  • Create effective customer communications, emails, proposals and presentations, tender submissions.
  • Resolving customer queries in a manner which maximises customer satisfaction
  • Reviewing account portfolio spend patterns each week
  • Development of non-spending accounts to maximise sales revenues 
This is a permanent position, in Yeovil with free parking.  The position is Monday – Friday 8.00 – 17.00 with an hour lunch break.  The salary will be between £26,000 - £28,000 depending on the level of experience.Meridian Business Support is a recruitment specialist acting on behalf of our client as an Employment Agency for this vacancy.
