Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate payment processes.
- Monitor and report on accounts receivable, identifying trends and potential issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes and improve cash flow.
- Prepare and present regular reports on credit control performance to senior management.
- Mentor and support junior credit control staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar financial role.
- Strong understanding of credit control processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable.
