Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate payment processes.
  • Monitor and report on accounts receivable, identifying trends and potential issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes and improve cash flow.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on credit control performance to senior management.
  • Mentor and support junior credit control staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar financial role.
  • Strong understanding of credit control processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable.
