This role is perfect for individuals looking to thrive in a customer-focused environment within our Yeovil agency, working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm with no weekend work.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver exceptional customer service to both new and existing customers.
- Handle a variety of customer queries including reviewing and amending policies, managing correspondence, processing renewals, and providing quotations.
- Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships.
- Promote and sell products and services after receiving comprehensive training to understand customer needs fully.
- Ensure compliance with standards, the Training and Competence Scheme, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to meet the continuous professional development requirements of the Insurance Distribution Directive.
- Experience in customer service, preferably within a telephone-based role.
- Proven ability to identify and capitalise on sales opportunities through excellent service.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, capable of engaging customers over the telephone.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Interest or knowledge of farming or agriculture is beneficial but not essential.
- Competitive salary up to £27,000 per annum.
