Join our team as a Customer Service & Sales Adviser and start your career in insurance with a company that offers full training, development, and progression opportunities. This role is perfect for individuals looking to thrive in a customer-focused environment within our Yeovil agency, working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm with no weekend work.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both new and existing customers.
  • Handle a variety of customer queries including reviewing and amending policies, managing correspondence, processing renewals, and providing quotations.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Promote and sell products and services after receiving comprehensive training to understand customer needs fully.
  • Ensure compliance with standards, the Training and Competence Scheme, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to meet the continuous professional development requirements of the Insurance Distribution Directive.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in customer service, preferably within a telephone-based role.
  • Proven ability to identify and capitalise on sales opportunities through excellent service.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of engaging customers over the telephone.
  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Interest or knowledge of farming or agriculture is beneficial but not essential.
