Long - Term Teachers are working with a fantastic special school In Yeovil. This school is a pupil referral unit, this is where students are unable to access mainstream school. This amazing school supports students with Social, Emotional Mental Health Needs (SEMH) needs and to support the reduction of exclusions across South Somerset.

Your role of will involve offering classroom support to students and teachers. This will be a full time position, term time only. There is also an expectation to work on a 1:1 basis and lead small group interventions, so it is important you are confident and mouldable. It is vital that feedback is delivered to tutors and senior members of staff, ensuring the student is being encouraged to succeed.

You must have a strong understanding of specialeducation, in particular SEMH, experience is essential. This is an amazing opportunity to develop your experience if you have a passion for specialeducation. The headteacher is looking for a mature and friendly individual that can bring a positiveattitude to the classroom. Your contribution towards devising activities will be great, so bring a creative engaging attitude and get involved!

Commencing in November 2024, this will be a full time role, where you will be part of a fantastic team.
