The role:
A local secondary school in Yeovil has a vacancy for a full time Teaching Assistant, with knowledge of SEN and safeguarding processes are required. The role entails working 1 to 1 support for Key Stage 3. Although the school is eager for the position to be filled, there is client flexibility with a start date to be determined. Successful clients are required to have relevant experience in childcare or classroom support, for example in school placements, community groups, sports or activity coaching.

The school is looking for a patient and approachable individual, who can provide 1 to 1 support for individuals with ASD,ADHD and SEMH. Working in this environment requires a compassionate individual, who loves working with students. To be considered for this role, candidates must consider themselves a team player within the schools wider support structure, adaptable to an ever-changing environment and strives to provide exceptional services to students.
