Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Renewable Energy Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating and air conditioning systems, with a focus on renewable energy solutions. This role involves reviewing designs, preparing accurate quotes, and confidently discussing proposed renewable systems with clients.
Key Responsibilities of the Renewable Energy Estimator:
- Review and accurately interpret property plans to determine the best renewable energy solutions.
- Prepare detailed and accurate quotes for renewable heating systems, Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR), and air conditioning systems.
- Follow up on estimates and engage with clients to discuss the proposed renewable systems confidently and professionally.
- Demonstrate proven expertise and understanding of heating and air conditioning systems.
- Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in estimating and preparing quotes for renewable energy systems.
- Strong understanding of heating and air conditioning systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to review and interpret property plans accurately.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for estimating and design.
- Computer literacy and ability to use intuitive quoting systems effectively.
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience with heating system designs, including heat pumps and underfloor heating.
- Familiarity with the latest renewable energy technologies and trends.
- Experience with Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) standards.
- Background in heating systems with a desire to transition to renewable energy.
- Certification or training in renewable energy systems.
