Morson Talent currently have an exciting new position for a Material Co-Ordinator to join our prestigious Aerospace client based in Yeovil. This role is an ongoing contract position.
Job Purpose:
- To support the Material Delivery Manager in the delivery and management of material supply to
the aircraft build facility, ensuring milestones and aircraft deliveries are successful and within
financial budgets.
- To be a contact for business stakeholders ensuring clear and timely communication reference material status, risks and escalations.
Main Activities:
- Take ownership of and resolve complex material problems to ensure customer satisfaction and business improvement.
- Working closely with the Production Logistic Controllers and Aircraft Managers to make sure material is delivered to the build facility on time.
- Forge good working relationships with business stakeholders, including Procurement, Logistics provider, Programmes, Manufacturing Engineering and MRP making certain that priorities are clear and managed appropriately in the material flow
- Be self-sufficient in the analysis of material data and the execution of business processes,
- ensuring key issues are escalated appropriately.
- Attend material review meetings and provide material status reports as required by the business to support understanding and decision making
- Provide support to team members to ensure individual and team effectiveness
- You are responsible for taking reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work and to co-operate with managers, supervisors and others to enable the company to meet its statutory obligations for health, safety and environment.
- Specific responsibilities for Employees are detailed within HSEMSM, Section 8.7.
- You should take responsibility for understanding the Code of Ethics - Core Instruction No.PER.10.3 and making sure that you comply with it at all times whilst doing your job.

Hours: 37 hours - Monday to Friday
