If so, we have an exciting and rare opportunity for you to join our insurance client as a Commercial Account Manager in Yeovil, on a full time, permanent basis.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving business growth by identifying sales opportunities, building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, and delivering tailored insurance solutions to meet their needs. You will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of customers, focusing on large commercial accounts and delivering on your individual sales performance.
You’ll be covering an area from Yeovil and up to 1 hour – 1.5 hours. On the days you aren’t out visiting clients, you’ll be based out of the Yeovil office, but ultimately you’ll be managing your diary/time and workload week to week.
Duties:
- Identify sales opportunities and build strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
- Deliver tailored insurance solutions that meet the needs of large commercial accounts.
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of customers, focusing on high retention rates and cross-selling.
- Engage with the local community through networking activities to cultivate leads and strengthen relationships.
- Handle inbound inquiries and navigate through existing pipeline to expand your commercial book of business.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve growth objectives in target sectors.
Requirements:
- Experience working within Insurance or other Financially Regulated Businesses.
- Proven track record in a face-to-face sales environment, prospecting new business and sales opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously, being proactive and demonstrating initiative.
- Strong negotiation skills, capable of navigating difficult conversations to achieve positive outcomes.
- Full UK Driver's license.
