Our client, based in Yeovil with operations across the South West, are currently recruiting for a Multi Trade Carpenteron a permanentcontract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary for the role is £36,691 and offering a range of benefits incluing a company van and fuel card.

The ideal candidate will have experience in regards to carrying out Carpentry repairs work across Social Housing properties, have a basic understanding around Plumbing works and have some aspects of Social Housing experience.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Carrying out essential carpentry repairs in social housing properties, including door and window repairs, flooring, and structural woodwork
  • Installing and replace kitchen units, cabinets, doors, windows, and other wooden fixtures and fittings in residential prerties
  • Accurately measuring, cut, and shape timber to meet project specifications
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with agreed specifications
  • Receiving tasks via the PDA system and manage the works that need to be completed
  • Liaising with tenants regarding work schedules and updates

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Experience working with customers within housing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Carpentry and basic Plumbing as well as Tiling

Working hours:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm
