A Day in the Life of a Specialist Chemotherapy Nurse:
Join our team as a  Chemotherapy Nurse and make a real difference in the lives of oncology patients. Your core responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments for oncology patients.
- Providing IV chemotherapy administration and ensuring safe home treatment.
- Educating and training patients (or carers) to self-administer medications.
- Performing dressings, blood transfusions, and monitoring patient well-being.
- Acting as the bridge between patients and their hospital care team.
- Delivering professional care with empathy and expertise.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- NMC-registered RGN with a Chemotherapy delivery qualification.
- Experience in administering oncology medication and IV therapy.
- Strong understanding of NHS patient management and treatment pathways.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
