JOB TITLE: Part Time School PA

LOCATION: Yeovil

HOURLY RATE: £12.45 - £13.05 per hour (DOE)

HOURS: 20 hours, flexible on working days/hours; however, you must be able to stay late on a Wednesday until 6pm (term time only)

Our client is seeking a well-organised, accurate, and adaptable individual to their team as a Part Time School PA. This is a great opportunity to join a team who are very passionate about providing the best support to their students. This role is being offered on a temporary ongoing basis therefore you must be available immediately or on a short notice period to be considered for this position.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Typing up letters, acknowledgements, and confirmations: Drafting and formatting various types of correspondence
  • Answering calls and taking messages: Handling incoming calls and directing them appropriately
  • First point of contact: Greeting visitors and managing appointments for the headteacher
  • Minute taking: Attending meetings and producing accurate minutes
  • Diary management: Organising the headteacher's schedule and appointments
  • Arranging meetings: Coordinating logistics for meetings involving internal and external attendees
  • Maintaining filing systems: Keeping the headteacher's documents organised and up to date
