An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead a thriving and ambitious retain, hospitality and lifestyle business in the heart of Somerset.

With exciting expansion plans on the horizon, we are seeking a passionate leader who can spearhead a period of change, inspire a dedicated team, and deliver exceptional guest experiences across our retail store, restaurant operations, and high-end deli/food-to-go offering.

The Role

As General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this multi-faceted business. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving sales, and enhancing customer experiences. Working closely with both loyal local customers and visitors from further afield, you will create a welcoming, engaging, and inspiring environment.

Key Responsibilities:


Lead and motivate a passionate team through a period of positive change and growth.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of retail, restaurant, and food-to-go services, ensuring seamless delivery.
Drive customer engagement through exceptional service and an inspiring product offering.
Implement strategic initiatives to drive footfall, sales, and profitability.
Maintain and enhance high standards across all areas of the business.
Develop strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and customers.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and industry regulations.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role, you will have proven experience in a fast-paced, multi-faceted hospitality or retail environment. You will be a natural, emotionally intelligent leader who thrives on developing teams, driving sales, and creating exceptional guest experiences.

Strong background in retail, hospitality, or lifestyle business management.
Experience in leading teams through change and business growth.
