We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the planning and coordination of complex projects, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standard. You will be working on a variety of challenging and rewarding construction projects, managing the daily and weekly operations, resources, and labour to meet project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and coordinate daily and weekly activities up to 4 weeks in advance, ensuring all resources and labour are aligned with project information and timelines.
- Develop and manage a project programme based on the PSM’s project programme, utilizing programming software to track progress, record delays, and document variations.
- Manage multiple, interdependent tasks in an integrated manner, illustrating how they are linked and ensure seamless execution.
- Consult with subcontractors to gather their expertise and input, ensuring all aspects of the programme are well-informed and accurate.
- Share planning and programming details with relevant team members, including Assistant Site Managers and Subcontractor Supervisors, and review regularly.
- Contribute proactively to weekly team planning meetings, ensuring clear communication and collaboration with clients and their representatives.
- Manage all site activities, demonstrating initiative and self-reliance with minimal guidance from the Contracts Manager.
- Proven experience in managing complex construction projects and teams.
- Strong knowledge of programming software to develop and manage project plans.
- Ability to effectively manage subcontractors, monitor quality of work, and maintain site safety and compliance.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to deal with the increased complexity of project documentation.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage a team in line with company policies and values.
