Our aerospace client is looking for Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to join on them on a 6-month contract basis. The role will involve developing and conducting activities and programs to help prevent accidents, eliminate Health and Safety hazards and achieve compliance with current Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) Regulations and Company Standards.

Role: HS&E Advisor
Pay: 18.88 p/h via PAYE
Location: Yeovil
Hours: Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week
Security Clearance: Full BPSS* Screening (*Baseline Personnel Security Standard), including proof of Legal Right to Work, Criminal Records Check, i.e. UK DBS and Drugs Screening.

**Please note - We are only able to consider UK or NATO country passport holders due to the nature of the work. **

Job Profile

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HS&E strategies and programs to ensure a safe
    and compliant work environment within the Aerospace business unit.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments and Safety Audits to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, identify root causes and implement corrective
    actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations,
    Permits, Certifications and company requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver Safety Training Programs.

Skills/Experience Required

  • Experience in Health, Safety & Environmental processes.
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Preferred: Experience in a manufacturing or related environment
  • Preferred: IOSH or NEBOSH Qualifications
