My client, located near Yeovil, specializes in manufacturing and installing bespoke interiors for the high-end residential market.
They are seeking a Furniture Finisher, welcoming applications from both skilled and semi-skilled candidates, with full training provided for those with limited experience.
The role involves working with various finishing techniques, including staining, sealing, and applying high gloss finishes to solid timber and veneered furniture.
The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week across 5 days, with overtime available at time and a half.
Salary is dependent on experience, and the company prides itself on having a team of experts passionate about their craft.

My client based 20 mins from Yeovil, 15 mins from Crewkerne and 30 mins from Dorchester manufacture and install bespoke interiors for the high-end residential market.

They work with architects, interior designers, project managers, quantity surveyors and private clients who demand the highest quality and specification.

My clients designers, cabinet makers, project managers, veneerers, finishers and fitters are experts in each of their fields and are passionate about their work.

We are currently looking for a Furniture Finisher

We welcome applications from skilled or semi-skilled furniture finishers, full training will be provided for a successful applicant that has limited experience.

Staining, sealing and top coat PU lacquers to solid timber and veneered furniture.
Stained and clear high gloss polyester finishes.
High gloss and pearlescent paint finishes.
Priming, cutting back and top coat PU paint finishes of all sheen levels.
Liquid metal finishes.
Sand blasting, bristle wheeling and scorching of constructional veneer and solid timber furniture.

Schedule

40 Hours Across 5 Days ( 7.30- 4.30)
Overtime available
Overtime paid at time & a half
Salary dependant on experience
