ABOUT THE SCHOOL Prospero Teaching is looking for a Year 5 Primary Teacher for an Primary school near to Yeovil BA22. The school is a one-form entry mainstream Primary School. This role is to cover long-term illness and is expected to continue until Easter 2025 The position is open to both NQTs and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS 路 Location - BA22 路 Position - Y5 Primary Teacher 路 Type of work - Class Teacher - planning, preparation, marking, parents evenings etc 路 Contract or position start date - ASAP 路 Duration / Likely Duration - Academic Year 路 Contract or position end date (if applicable) - Easter 2025 路 Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary 路 Full time/part time - Full time 路 Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate GBP130 per day 路 Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only) EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS 路 QTS or equivalent 路 Minimum 1 year Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK 路 Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: 路 Hold Right to Work in the UK 路 Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application 路 Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
