Prospero Teaching is looking for an English Teacher for an Ofsted Good Secondary school in North Dorset The school is a medium size mainstream Secondary School with a supportive English department. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year. The school does have a 6th form, although most of the timetable for this role will be key stage 3 and key stage 4. The position is open to both NQTs and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position. CONTRACT DETAILS 路 Location - North Dorset 路 Position - English Teacher 路 Type of work - KS3/KS4 Class Teacher 路 Contract or position start date - 02/09/2024 路 Duration / Likely Duration - Academic Year 路 Contract or position end date (if applicable) - July 2024 路 Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary 路 Full time/part time - Full time 路 Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate GBP180 per day 路 Hours - 8:20 am - 4pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS 路 QTS or equivalent 路 Minimum 1 year Subject teaching experience in the UK 路 Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: 路 Hold Right to Work in the UK 路 Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application 路 Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
