Salary 39,000 DOE + OTE
A great opportunity has arisen to join our client in Yeovil as an Assistant Service Manager. This is a newly created role, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to our service department's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Oversee a team of 2 direct reports, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Customer Service: Prioritise customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Performance Management: Monitor team performance, set clear goals, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Inventory Management: Manage parts inventory to optimise stock levels and minimise shortages.
- System Proficiency: Utilise Keyloop system to manage workflow and track performance metrics.
- Financial Performance: Contribute to the department's financial goals by maximising labor efficiency and controlling costs.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Senior Service Advisor or Workshop Controller within a main dealership environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in using workshop management systems, preferably Keyloop.
- A valid UK driving license.
- Managing KPI's
