Housing Support Worker - Youth Homelessness Support
Location: Yeovil
Salary: 23,634 per annum
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

We are a leading youth homelessness organisation, seeking a Housing Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Yeovil. In this role, you will work closely with young people at risk of homelessness or those who have already experienced it, helping them develop essential life skills and achieve independence.

Your role will include:

  • Providing tailored support to help young people meet their accommodation, financial, and social needs.
  • Assisting them with independent living skills, from managing rent and debts to maintaining health and well-being.
  • Encouraging positive community integration and supporting their access to education, training, or employment.
  • Safeguarding young people and ensuring their safety, while reducing risks and improving outcomes.
