Velox Social Care are looking for dedicated Support Workers across the Yeovil and wider area across the border in Dorset to provide quality, person-centred care to CYP (Children and Young people) who require structured care and support. We are committed to finding individuals who want to make a real difference to childrens lives - people that are passionate, committed and invest in all that they do to achieve their potential and support others to do so.

You will be supporting our young people to progress positively through receiving encouragement, understanding, care and patience. You will be required to record daily logs and liaise with colleagues, our dedicated Care Management Team and outside agencies.

We have a range of flexible shift options to choose from and are keen to speak with candidates who can work days/nights and ongoing block bookings.

In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • 6 Months+ UK experience of working within a similar CYP setting
  • 3 References: 2 x professional references, 1 x character
  • In date PMVA or Team Teach certificate (if PMVA-trained, willing to undertake Team Teach training)
  • Enhanced Child DBS, subscribed to the update service (or willing to get one)
  • Relevant Qualifications (Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care)
