Location:Yeovil
The Repair Centre manager directs the work activities of automotive repair centre employees. This includes ensuring deadlines are met, standards of work being upheld and maintaining productivity levels within the team.
The Repair Centre Manager will be able to demonstrate effective management of a vehicle repair centre whilst meeting all relevant KPIs. Have a proven ability to maximising the use of all available resources to ensure the department is run in the most effective manner, whilst building long-term profitable relationships
Essential duties also include - coaching staff, taking corrective measures, providing technical advice to customers and staff, verifying documentation used in the claim/repair process and above all running a profitable operation.
Responsibilities of a Workshop Controller
Strong knowledge of modern repair methods and working practices with an ability to communicate appropriately with customers and staff.
You also demonstrate strengths in finding opportunities to manage, coach and develop colleagues and identifying and recruiting new talent.
Skills and Qualifications of a Workshop Controller
Looking for someone from the industry, though this is not essential, motor trade experience is preferred. However, proven management experience is essential.
