The Job:
Main duties and responsibilities of a Trainee Production Wood Worker:
- Operating production machinery to cut, shape and assemble raw materials
- Working considerately to reduce material wastage
- Interpreting drawings and measurements to ensure accuracy
- Manual handling of materials, preparing for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, safe workstation
- Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company
These Trainee Production Wood Worker positions are permanent position.
The Requirements:
Although these Trainee Production Wood Worker roles don’t require any formal qualifications or experience, there are a few specifics we'll need to see:
- Ability to undertake manual work – some of the materials can be heavy.
- Experience using hand and power tools (even if this is from DIY at home)
- Longevitiy from prior employment.
- Reliability – it’s a small team and each person counts!
- Your own transport (owing to working hours & location)
- Flexibility – plans can change… some degree of flexibility (possible overtime)
