Job title: Accounts Officer
Responsible to: Finance Director
Hours: 20-24 hours spread over 3-5 days (negotiable)
Salary: £25,000.00 to £30,000.00 pro rata, per annum (depending on experience)

Place of Work
The primary location of this role will be at our Head Office, Wilberforce House.
Purpose of the job:
To assist in the effective day to day administrative operations of the Finance Department.
This role would suit an experienced Accounts Officer with a skill set involving purchase ledger, payroll, cash & banking, and account reconciliation.
Main Duties:
Purchase Ledger
- To carry out and maintain the Purchase Ledger operation on Sage 50 Accounts; with mid and end of month payment runs.
- Assist with the reconciliation of the Aged Creditors Control Account
Payroll
- To carry out and maintain the Payroll operation on Sage 50 Payroll; with an end of month payroll run.
- Inputting of Payroll / Pension journals to Sage accounts
Sales Ledger
- To assist in the monthly invoicing where required.
- To assist in the reconciliation of the Aged Debtors Control Account
Banking
- Entering BACS payments / collections on internet Banking
- Assisting with Bank Reconciliations.
- Assist with the reconciling of Petty Cash
General:
Previous experience with Sage 50 Accounts, Sage 50 Payroll and Microsoft Office systems would be ideal.
