Job Purpose
  • Be the first point of contact for a varied portfolio of clients and audits
  • Support the on-site team through work reviews, ongoing support and quality control
  • Oversee high-risk areas of audit files
  • Prepare statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and returns to support Audit Managers and Senior Managers
  • Supervise junior staff by reviewing work and providing constructive feedback
  • Build strong rapport with clients and proactively handling queries
  • Work to client expectations, budgets and deadlines
  • Champion your own professional development by learning from the experienced team
  • Lead strategic projects both in the office and as part of the wider firm
  • Manage your own time effectively and autonomously

The Successful Applicant
  • ACCA or ACA qualified or equivalent
  • At least 3 years’ audit practice experience
  • Strong leadership skills to help develop junior members of the team
  • Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Self-motivated with a passion for career progression and business development
  • Effective time and project management skills
  • Ambitious and enthusiastic to take on new challenges and learn from an experienced team
  • Methodical worker and proactive problem solver
  • Passionate about supporting and building relationships with a wide variety of clients
  • Proficient with IT applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
