Description
- Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts
- Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring financial compliance
- Performing variance analysis and providing financial insight
- Assisting in annual audits
- Liaising with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Supporting the Finance Director with ad hoc financial tasks
- Providing financial support and guidance to non-financial members of the team
Profile
A successful Interim Management Accountant should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
- Proficiency in financial software packages
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with various departments
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A strong understanding of the not-for-profit sector
