Sewell Wallis are supporting an extremely successful, family-run business based in a beautiful, picturesque location near Stamford Bridge. They are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join them on permanent basis due to growth and will support the Financial Controller and the Finance Director.

This role would suit someone who is part-qualified or QBE, and is looking to gain further exposure to the management accounting process. It could also suit someone who has extensive experience in finance, whose main priority is to find something closer to home!

Whilst they are ideally looking for someone to join them on a full time basis, they are willing to consider someone on a part-time basis on 4 days per week.

What will you be doing?

  • Production of monthly management accounts for review by the Senior Management Accountant and Financial Controller.
  • Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including inter-company balances.
  • Preparation and input of monthly journals - including accruals, prepayments, deferred and accrued income, depreciation and analysis.
  • Processing payroll.
  • Financial Reporting.
  • Assisting with the ERP implementation project.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Excellent attention to detail with an analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) or QBE.
  • End-to-end payroll experience.
