Interim Management Accountant
York based not for profit are looking for and interim Management Accountant for a period of up to three months with an immediate start.
Key responsibilities:
- Produce monthly management reports for all budget holders, including detailed variance analysis, and regularly meet with budget holders to review these.
- Support the Director of Finance in the budget building process, providing detailed analysis and working with budget holders to evidence needs and requests.
- Provide financial returns as required by service/contract commissioners to the Service Managers.
- Analyse key financial data and advise senior management on strategic planning.
- Prepare financial reports and budgets, control and forecast income and expenditure
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Qualified Accountant with CCAB (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA) or similar qualification/experience
- Substantial experience as a Management Accountant or Finance Manager.
- Proficiency in business management and accounting software such as Accounts IQ, Sage 200, Xero, or QuickBooks.
- Experience in the Not-for-Profit sector, particularly in a charity, is desirable.
