A Tax Associate position is available at a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in York, offering a salary between £24,000 and £28,000.
The role involves preparing various tax returns and dividend paperwork, as well as addressing client queries and supporting tax colleagues.
Candidates should ideally have AAT level 3 or 4 qualifications and previous experience as a Tax Associate in Practice.

Fantastic opportunity for a Tax Associate to join a well-established, multi-site firm of Chartered Accountants, in their growing team based in York. This firm offer a range of services to their diverse client base, enabling you to gain a breadth of experience throughout your career. This modern firm have some incredible benefits, including flexible working and additional annual leave every 2 weeks.As a Tax Associate, you will be responsible for:

Preparing income, P11D, and corporation tax returns from a variety of systems including CCH, Iris, and Taxshield.
Preparing dividend paperwork.
Researching basic tax planning issues.
Actioning queries raised by tax colleagues on the draft tax returns and computations.
Act as a point of contact for clients for ad hoc queries.

To qualify for this Tax Associate role, ideally you will be:

AAT level 3 or 4 qualified
Eager to learn and pursue a career in tax.
Previous experience working as a Tax Associate in Practice.
Experience working with CCH, Iris, Taxshield and Microsoft platforms would be ideal.
