Job Purpose
  • Support a personal tax portfolio, providing excellent compliance, advisory and planning services
  • Preparation of partnership tax returns
  • Preparation of personal tax returns
  • Support the reporting of capital disposals
  • Oversee PAYE coding notices, ensuring compliance in every aspect
  • Review tax calculations and repayments
  • Provide support to Senior Managers and Directors on varied case work, developing your skills alongside them
  • Ensure HMRC compliance with relevant statutory requirements
  • Research regularly to interpret changes in tax laws and regulations
  • Nurture meaningful relationships with clients, ensure deadlines and budgets are met
  • Mentor and guide junior staff by reviewing work and knowledge sharing
  • Champion your own professional development by undertaking learning opportunities where possible

Job Requirements
  • CTA / ATT / ACCA / ACCA qualified or currently studying
  • Recent advisory and compliance experience in practice environment
  • Technically efficient across taxation
  • Excellent communicator both on paper and in person
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build enhanced relationships
  • Professional, well organised and confident managing own workload
  • Good at working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, professional and reliable
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel etc
  • Keen to progress within the firm
