Administrator
  • Job Type: Full-time - 40 hours per week over 5 days

We are seeking a dedicated Administrator to enhance administrative efficiency within a busy service department. This role involves assisting the service team in maintaining accurate and timely reports and records, handling processes, and supporting overall departmental activities.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Receive, direct, and possibly action internal and external customer inquiries for the service department.
  • Check work orders before submission to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain meticulous service department filing, records, and department information.
  • Process service documentation such as invoices and purchase orders as required.
  • Attend work-related training as required to achieve company goals.
  • Open and maintain control of work orders as directed until they are closed and invoiced.
  • Coordinate enrolment and follow-up of training attendance as directed.
  • Process warranty and/or product improvement claims, including computation of charges, submission, and follow-up.
  • Update customer profiles as needed.
  • Handle cash transactions or process banking when required.
  • Carry out additional administrative duties as required by the service manager in support of department or company goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
  • Familiarity with service software in the dealer business system and Deere warranty system.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong drive and ethic for completing tasks.
  • Ability to create, analyse, and interpret reports.
  • Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
