  • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of Theatre experience, although specific Ophthalmology experience is not required.
  • The position offers a schedule of 4 days a week from Monday to Thursday, 07:30 to 18:00, with no weekend work.
  • Applicants must be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with current NMC/ODP registration and a proven track record in mentoring and leadership.

Daytime Healthcare are assisting one of the best private Ophthalmology Hospitals in the UK with the recruitment of a Senior Scrub Nurse. Ophthalmology experience is not required, but you must have 5+ years of Theatre experience.

4 days per week Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 6pm (No weekends)!

What You’ll Need

- Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner

- Have a current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions

- Previous experience in theatre, minimum of five years

- Proven track record of mentoring theatre team nurses, Operating Department Practitioners (ODP) and support workers (HCT’s)

- Experience and ability to provide direction and highly visible professional leadership for all staff in the operating theatre including support for the management team for appraisals, rotas, development and retention.
